A project to resurface 11th Street from Beck Avenue to Florida Avenue began recently and will continue over the next few months. The Beck Avenue to Florida Avenue portion of the 11th Street paving project is expected to cost approximately $1 million and is being funded via federal stimulus dollars. As many as 10,000 vehicles per day travel the roadway being repaved. The project is part of an overall county effort to repave 11th Street from Beck Avenue to Tyndall Parkway.
